The Victory difference is our caring culture. It's visible in the classroom, playground, Caregroups and on the sporting fields. Each staff member makes a special effort to know and care for the students in their charge. Staff do not follow a ‘one size fits all’ approach but strive to develop individual pathways for students according to their particular interests and talents. Our aim is to inspire, motivate and empower students towards reaching their true potential, achieving their own goals and individual personal bests.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

Our academic programs develop confident, literate and numerate problem solvers who have the skills and knowledge to strive for their personal best.

2023 ATAR RESULTS

• 18.9% achieved 80+
• 32.4% were above 70
• 56.8% scored above 60.
• 2.8% of all study scores were above 40% (top 9% of state) and
• 14.3% of study scores were above 35.

2023 COLLEGE DUX

We congratulate our College Dux, Megan Danckert on her excellent ATAR of 91.2. Megan returned to Victory and spoke at the 2024 Opening Service, sharing her thoughts on her final year at Victory.

40+ SUBJECT STUDY SCORES

Whilst we celebrate the entire Class of 2023 for their collective achievements, we also acknowledge the following students whose study scores were 40+ (top 9% of state):

We are excited to watch the next part of the Year 12 Class of 2023’s journey, which for many involves accepting university placements.

Our Old Scholars have been offered university courses ranging from Computer Science to Law, Nursing to Performing Arts, Physiotherapy to Equine & Animal Science, Music to Occupational Therapy, Education to Paramedicine, Engineering Technology to Criminal Justice and Criminology.

Students are studying locally at La Trobe and CSU and others further away throughout Australia. We are excited that all students who applied for a tertiary course received offers for 2024.

We acknowledge our VCE Vocational Major students who all have obtained traineeships or ongoing employment.

We also take this time to knowledge and celebrate students who have successfully obtained full time employment and apprenticeships in their preferred career.

OUTSTANDING FACILITIES

Victory boasts first class, award-winning facilities and specialised dedicated Science, Music, Art and Technical Trade Centres. The continuing growth of the College has seen our facilities significantly bolstered over the last few years with a modern tertiary learning environment provided for senior students and a dedicated learning hub opened for Years 3 and 4. These modern facilities enrich each student’s learning journey.

Students are recognised as individuals with their own dreams, abilities and beliefs. The College is nurtured by a framework of Christian attitudes and relationships which help our students grow within a caring community.

Victory provides a dynamic learning environment which empowers students to become life-long learners for the 21st Century. Our dedicated team of teachers strive to provide experiences that encourage participation and celebrate achievement. We challenge students to achieve their personal best to become active, informed citizens.

As we move forward, our Teaching and Learning Leaders are facilitating the implementation of Visible Learning across the College.
