Carols@theCollege 2023
How fabulous to see a packed Luther Hall for our Carols@theCollege in our final week of the school year.Our 2024 College Captains and Faith Leaders did a fabulous job as MCs for the evening and it was terrific to see so many of our families enjoying the carol singing and music by our Secondary band, Staff band and the Wodonga Lutheran Parish band.
The Foundation to Year 2 nativity was such a special highlight, hearing Year 2 recount and perform the story of Christ’s birth for our community. The songs included some upbeat tunes and even a rap which was not an easy tongue twister, but you could see how enthusiastic Foundation to Year 2 sang these toe-tapping songs to the delight of all.
It was lovely to see so many year levels across the College involved in the Carols evening. Years 3 – 6 Vocal Ensemble completed the carols with beautiful renditions of ‘Away in a Manager’, ‘Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer’ and the finale was ‘We Wish You A Merry Christmas’ which was accompanied in Auslan, at a super speed!
We hope everyone enjoyed the evening. The time shared afterwards on Luther Oval with games, sausage sizzle and a final chin wag capped off a fantastic year.
