Michael Ymer Maths Workshop
Primary students and their teachers undertook some workshops with Mathematics consultant Michael Ymer.Mar 19th 2019
On Monday, we had the pleasure of a visit by renowned Mathematics consultant, Michael Ymer. Michael ran several sessions with different classes throughout the day which were observed by the teachers.
This was then followed up by a workshop after school with teachers. From these sessions the teachers were able to explore new and different ways of teaching Mathematics in their classrooms. There was a lot of excited chatter, from both students and teachers, about what was learnt from the day.
A big thank you to our Primary Numeracy Coordinator, Mrs Vanessa O’Connor, for all her work in organising this great experience for our students and teachers.
