Yesterday was a wonderful opportunity for our Year 3 and Year 4 students to spend time with acclaimed Author and Illustrator Peter Carnavas, who visited us from Queensland to share his passion for storytelling and creativity.

A determined effort from our Year 7/8 Boys Cricket team saw the Tigers battle hard against Galen Catholic College in Wangaratta. Strong bowling performances from Shaan G and Oscar M kept the pressure on early, while a brilliant catch from Eli K and some confident batting from Braxton P, Billy R and Eli K kept VLC in the contest. Chasing 101, the boys showed plenty of resilience and teamwork, finishing on 5/79 after 17 overs. While the result didn't fall our way, the team can be proud of their effort, sportsmanship and determination throughout the match. Well done, boys!
